Our Story
Founded in 1982 by Lorraine O’Brien, the Rebels Netball Club has gone from strength to strength. Over four decades later, we are proud to welcome you to our club where these days our current President Peta Silvestro, an avid netballer herself, dedicates many hours of her time ensuring our kids have a safe, enjoyable and meaningful netball journey at Rebels.

Rebels Netball Club is a local, not-for-profit organisation proudly affiliated with the Noranda Netball Association. Our club is passionate about promoting and supporting domestic netball while fostering a positive growth mindset both on and off the court.
With teams ranging from Net Set Go through to Seniors, Rebels provides opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to develop their confidence, skills, teamwork, and love for the game in a supportive and family-friendly environment.
At Rebels, we believe that a champion team is more important than a team of champions. While we absolutely love to win, we value strong team spirit, sportsmanship, inclusiveness, and personal growth above any medal or trophy. Our focus is on building a positive club culture where every player feels encouraged, supported, and part of the Rebels family.
